She counted the days, the hours, the weeks, the months, perhaps even the years
She sat before the mirror, studying her own reflection, yet the happiness she had expected was nowhere to be found.
The joy, the esteem, the glory, the honor; none of it stirred within her. As a bride to be, she felt only uncertainty
What had she done? Who would she become? Where would she go? Where would she end? And what would happen between all those moments?
She sat and pondered, waiting for the knock at the door, for someone to say, “It’s time.”
Time is a marvelous thing. It is a wondrous thing. Yet time is also deadly. It takes more from us than it ever gives
what shall the end be of those who, obey not, the gospel of God?
