Seeing through the eyes of others

poetry and writings based on the truth of life. Everyone sees through their own lenses. Trade glasses with someone else and view your world…and theirs. I write personal, I write upon request and not limited to one area, genre, or style

Stop lying

Stop mistaking church involvement for Christianity.
You can pray loud, cry during worship, quote every verse folks want to hear, carry a Bible under your arm, and still be cruel to people behind closed doors, still be unsaved. Never miss a meeting or Sunday supper.

You can hold a ministry position and still dodge accountability every time your actions hurt somebody.

A title does not prove maturity.
A platform does not prove character.
A church role does not make you safe.

Don’t tell me how anointed somebody is if they leave a trail of wounded people and refuse to own it. Don’t use “they’re a good Christian” to excuse manipulation, dishonesty, pride, or abuse. God is not impressed by a public performance that has no public or private fruit.

Jesus said we would know people by their fruit not their microphone, not their following, not how hard they shout on Sunday, or how easy they make everything or how they excuse one but condemn the other.
The real test is how you treat people when nobody is clapping.

It’s how you respond when you’re confronted. It’s whether you humble yourself, repent, make it right, and take responsibility when you’ve caused harm

Spiritual appearance and spiritual maturity are not the same thing. And the church has got to quit protecting appearances while people are bleeding.
